When high-distress crisis language is detected, our system initiates compassionate support while keeping your post visible. Emergency incident logs are encrypted using AES-256 field-level encryption, restricted solely to the Crisis Lead, and permanently auto-pruned after 60 days.
When you post with the Anonymous toggle activated, your name, username, and user ID are permanently masked at the API response layer. Other members see only a randomized pastel avatar and "Anonymous Sister".
To protect sisters from unsolicited or predatory direct messages, direct messaging is gated by mutual follow status by default. Non-mutual members cannot open a private chat with you unless you explicitly update your privacy settings.
We believe notifications should never interrupt your sleep or peace of mind. Non-critical social notifications are automatically held during default quiet hours (10:00 PM – 8:00 AM) and delivered gently the following morning.
